Products and Services Overview
Cardinal Aviation Services provides quality custom aerial
photography for a variety of uses. Our clients consist of real
estate professionals, law firms, environmental specialists,
construction companies, engineering firms and private property
owners just to name a few. If you have a need for aerial photos we
can satisfy your requirements.
Company Story
Cardinal Aviation Services began business in 2003 out of owner Kent
Raney's desire to develop a business centered around two of his main
interests, flying and photography. Kent has over 15,000 hours of
flying experience and has been taking aerial
photos for over twenty years.
Company Equipment
Cardinal Aviation Services owns our company
aircraft, a
Cessna Cardinal RG, which is uniquely suited for the aerial
photography business. Due to the high wing design, lack of wing
struts and retractable landing gear, there are never any aircraft
parts in any of our photos. Our Cardinal RG will cruise to the photo
site at 165mph, saving us time and our clients money. Since we do
not depend on rental aircraft, we are always ready to fly as long as
the weather permits. In order to ensure the highest quality photography possible, we
use professional series Canon digital cameras and Canon image
stabilized lenses. All of our prints are produced by one of the
leading photo labs in the St. Louis area.
Community Involvement
Company founder Kent Raney volunteers his time and the company
aircraft in support of
Angel Flight Central, a non profit organization that arranges
transportation on behalf of people in need for the purpose of access
to medical care or for reasons of compassion or community service.
We will donate custom aerial photo shoots for charity auctions.
